Browsers

If this page is not coming out properly, or things just aren't working right, it's probably time to update your web browser.

Mozilla / Netscape

The Mozilla Project was formed around the Netscape Navigator source code, and is the group responsible for the engines of Netscape 6 and up.

The Mozilla Project is an Open Source development team with a few full-time programmers who were from Netscape. The group has seen several name changes: the Mozilla Project; the Mozilla Foundation; the Mozilla Corporation.

The latest browser the team has produced is Firefox, and is quite capable.

MSIE

Microsoft Internet Explorer is the most popular browser, installed on every single Windows machine since Windows 95 OSR2. If you don't know what you are using, chances are you are using MSIE. For the browser that needs no introduction:

Opera

Opera is a browser from Opera Software, a company based in Oslo, Norway.

Opera is a wonderfully light and fast browser with good standards support.

Safari / KHTML

Apple Computer's Safari Browser, distributed in Mac OS X, is based off of the KHTML code that is used in the Konqueror browser for *nix (a unix-like system; Linux, FreeBSD, ad nauseum). To get Safari or Konqueror, buy a Mac or install a *nix respectively. If you've already done this, see your installation media.

This website is best viewed with a recent standards compliant browser.
